Rosie Larson
Hey. I'm Rosie Larson! I am in the tenth grade and I have been living in Hawaii for a few years now. At school I enjoy doing a bunch of sports, playing my flute in the marching band and drawing in art. Normally when people see me in the hall, I am normally pretty happy and smiley. My older brother also goes to this school and he is senior. I am so lucky I get a ride to school with him every day. One of my best friends in Chloe Parker we have been friends for two years now and I hope we are friends forever. I hope my sophomore year goes better than freshman year.

It's lame that the PTA wants to get rid of these books. First of all, not that many people even read in school. Second of all, just because a book says something doesn't necessarily mean that someone is going to go out and do whatever the characters do in the book. That's just nonsense. I'm sick of the school district trying to control our lives. I'll do what I want to.

Hi Rosie!
I totally agree! I think this is just awful! Some of my favorite books are on that list! I am very upset! How do you feel about this issue??

Hey girl,
So, as an underclassmen how do you feel about the book ban. Do you feel like some of the books are graphic for the 9th and tenth grade level of do you think that they educate?

Hey Rosie! I am just replying back about the PTSA banning books in the high school. I would have to agree with you on the issue. I thought that the quote you found to back your feelings on the issue was very interesting. " believe that censorship grows out of fear, and because fear is contagious, some parents are easily swayed. Book banning satisfies their need to feel in control of their children's lives" Judy Blume http://judyblume.com/censorship.ph That is very true, people are too lazy to research the issue, so they can make up their own opinion. Instead they just agree with what everyone else thinks and never take the time to actually care about what is going on.
PS I'm Chloe Parker.
