Want to live in a place that will constantly take your breath away because of its amazing beauty and serenity? Then Camden is the place for you!
Camden lies in the center of Maine's mid-coast. Its nestled in its surroundings in a sheltered harbor, closed snugly in by steep and sloping mountains. Camden's scenery is simply breathtaking. From the foliage and the mountains to the beautiful bay. It offers many places to retreat to, go camping, sailing, or just relax and take in the view. Places such as Camden Hills State park, Mount Battie, and shirttail point.

With a population of only 5,254, its not at all overwhelming and provides a close and friendly community. Downtown has been preserved and a lot of the original building still stand. The city is similar to the Gilmore girls town. Its a friendly community, almost family like.

The bay offers not only an amazing view but great opportunities for those who love to sail. Sailing is a very popular activity in Camden. During a beautiful sunny day, enjoy a multiplicity of cruises, from simple leisurely coasting, to seal spotting, to fishing. Windjammer cruises is a large attraction in Camden.
On one of the Islands off of Camden, actors such as John Travolta and Kirstie Ally fequently like to retreat to.
