Winston-Salem, NC

Winston-Salem, North Carolina would be the perfect place to put a school. It is a beautiful city in the middle of the state that has a little over 200,000 people living in it. The town's motto is “You're something special in Winston-Salem” and when you are there, they treat you that way. It is the fourth largest city in the state, and is the largest city in the county. You can never get bored in Winston, there is always something for you to do, from going to a museum or art museum to going shopping at the mall or just hanging out with your friends in the park. It doesn't get very cold in the winter so you can do outdoor activities all year long, and the summer may get hot and muggy, but it is a small price to pay for all the beautiful scenery you enjoy all year. Winston-Salem is also the home of the prestigious Wake Forest University, so you know that any educational program that goes here will be the best of the best. There is an intricate highway system that can get you anywhere in the city that you need to be within minutes, and if you find yourself without a car you can always take one of the city's buses that travel to all parts of the city at all times of the day.
When they say that “You are something special in Winston-Salem” they really mean it. While talking to the people that live here, “Southern Hospitality” is one thing that should always come to mind. You can approach anyone in the city about anything; whether you need directions somewhere, ideas about cool places to go or see, or even if you just need the time. People here will be glad to help out and will do it with a smile. Anything you need or want is just a short distance away, most of which you can find in the city itself. Lets say that you just finished a hard week at school or work, well you can always take a weekend trip to the coast, or you can go visit any of the surrounding states and visit some of their attractions. But since Winston-Salem is such an awesome city to begin with and it has everything you could possibly want in a city, you probably won't have to take many trips outside the city limits.
There is tons of history in this town, from all the famous people that have lived in the city including the Reynolds family and Arnold Palmer, a famous golfer, to many current celebrities that love the city so much they want to live there.
